As 2025 draws to a close I just wanted to send you all a huge thank you for being part of The Garden Gate Flower Company’s floral journey. In choosing me for your wedding you supported so many local businesses that help keep this flower business going. From my potter, dear John Webb to an independent nursery, like Bodmin Herb & Plant. I like to keep as much of what I do local as you know.

2025 season was one of my busiest wedding seasons, coupled (excuse the pun) with a fabulous new contract with The Story of Emily it has been an absolute joy. The garden expanded to an additional plot and I brought on a retired gardener, Becky, who lives close to the land to help me keep up with watering in the season.

The wedding season for me had so many special moments. From weddings where the bride was later in the season a bridesmaid and vice versa….(not at all stressful!), to weddings with more dogs than guests, which given it so soon after losing my dear Mabel, just felt like a blessing. I have enjoyed each and every one I created.

As you all know this is certainly not a ‘hobby’ job and managing all aspects of the business is always a huge challenge. My mind now is turning to creating some beautiful content this winter for others to be inspired by. I know a few of you have shared your photography galleries with me already and I am so grateful to you. If you haven’t already, I would absolutely LOVE to see them. I also get nagged a lot by mum (I’m sure you will have met her on the wedding day) that she hasn’t seen any photos yet! I have created the form below for you to submit yours - thank you.

So, all that’s left for me to say is a BIG congratulations to you all once again and may you all have a wonderful 2026 together.
