Roscarrock Wedding by The Cornish Collective for Glen & Jake - August

The Cornish Collective is a collaboration of The Garden Gate Flower Company and Three Acre.

Emily (Three Acre) and I created The Cornish Collective as an opportunity for couples to invest in the best seasonally grown flowers from one Cornish coast to the other. So from the South Coast at Garden Gate over to the North Coast at Three Acre we are able to work together to bring the best Cornish flowers from our gardens. Emily and I have worked on countless weddings together and many of our days are spent discussing which particular flowers we are going to grow each year and let’s face it which particular flowers won’t make the cut next year! It has been wonderful to work together on some of our larger events to create an immersive floral design where we grow, make and install together.

Bridal Party

With a soft, romantic colour palette of peaches, cream and champagne tones we created a bouquet with movement and texture. Feminine elements like trailing clematis finished off this bouquet adorned with silk ribbons.

Reception Styling

A living table plan was created on a bed of moss with lots of vintage bud vases holding seasonal blooms. This created a beautiful installation for guests to interactive with the moment they arrived into the marquee.

Installation Work

The marquee was filled with large branches bringing the outside in. Woven up the king poles this added height and a natural canopy to the marquee styling.

Guest Tables

On the round guest tables a mix of cream pottery were filled with seasonal blooms and grasses. Each table had a mix of potted Cornish herbs set in vintage marmalade jars.

Top Table

We loved this top table that was seated all the way around but highlighted by having it as a long table. Using the say styling from the round tables lots of bud vases and potted herbs wove their way down the table. Finished by beautiful tapered candles.

Finally

We are so grateful to Glen and Jake for trusting our creativity in designing this wedding for them. Bringing all these wonderful elements together was pure joy for Emily and I and we hope to share more of The Cornish Collective in the future.
